Vaishnava Nambi and Thirukurungudivalli Nachiar Temple

Chitrasopanam Art Foundation had the privilege of collaborating with the TVS Group for the project that required mural painting on the sacred idol (vigraham) using natural colours and ancient techniques that date back to hundreds of years. This project was undertaken at the historic Thirukkurungudi Azhagiya Nambi (Vishnu) Temple in Tamil Nadu. This prestigious initiative formed part of the temple’s comprehensive restoration and conservation programme, which aimed to preserve its rich spiritual, architectural, and artistic heritage.
